When a Nation becomes a Devouring Colony
When a Nation becomes a Devouring Colony
Sometime in November 2025, I received a revelation which was documented as a sermon titled
“Nigeria: The Termite Queen, the King, and the Soldiers.”
This morning, while in prayer and reflection over the state of the nation—particularly the visible realignments within the political space—theSpirit of the Lord brought me back to that same vision, with clearer understanding and urgency.
What follows is that message, now refined and re-presented.
The Vision:
For several months, the Spirit of the Lord has stirred my heart to speak concerning Nigeria through prophetic burdens. But earlier today, a vision was unveiled—clear, weighty, and deeply revealing.
In this vision, Nigeria did not appear as a lioness or an eagle—symbols of strength and majesty. Instead, she appeared as a termite queen, seated deep within hidden chambers, surrounded by tireless
workers and ravenous soldiers.
And beside her stood a king—visible, approving, and aligned.
The Mystery of the Termite Queen:
Understanding came as I beheld the vision.
The termite queen is one of the most extreme reproductive systems in creation:
She does not move.
She cannot feed herself.
Her entire existence is cantered on reproduction.
She begins small and ordinary.
But after alignment with the king, her body transforms.
Her abdomen expands continuously without restraint.
She produces thousands of offspring daily.
She becomes a living system of multiplication—producing a colony that exists not to build, but to consume.
Whena Nation becomes a Colony:
Every termite colony operates in secrecy—hidden, yet relentlessly destructive.
At its center sits the queen, multiplying destruction through:
Soldiers who devour
Workers who sustain the system
They do not build—they consume.
They do not preserve—they hollow out.
And the Lord revealed:
Nigeria has taken on this pattern.
A Spiritual Diagnosis
Hear the word of the Lord:
“The foundations of this nation are eatenfrom within.
Her strength is hollow, her beauty dimmed, for a system of devourers operates at her
core.”
Nigeria is not merely misgoverned—she is systemically corrupted at the root.
What appears as political failure is the
visible expression of a deeper disorder.
The decay is organized, sustained, and
largely hidden.
The
three agents of Destruction:
1.
The Termite Queen — The root system of Corruption:
The queen of corruption sits not in
flesh alone, but upon entrenched systems sustained by greed, compromise, and
injustice.
She represents the source and reproduction of dysfunction:
The multiplication of corrupt leadership
The preservation of poverty cycles
The normalization of unethical practices
The silencing of truth
She is the engine room of national decay.
Until the root is addressed, the outcomes
will remain unchanged.
2.The Termite King— the throne of Complicity
The king stands beside the queen—quiet, but decisive.
He represents:
Leadership without accountability
Power without moral restraint
Authority detached from public good
He sustains what should be dismantled.
As long as leadership structures align with systemic corruption,
reform will remain cosmetic and temporary.
The Mystery of Political Realignments:
And further clarity emerged:
In a healthy system, opposition provides balance and accountability.
But in a compromised system, opposition is gradually absorbed into the structure it was meant to challenge.
What we are witnessing is not merely political movement—it is systemic convergence.
Voices that once challenged power grow silent.
Critics become collaborators.
Resistance weakens—not always by force, but by attraction.
Why?
Because the system rewards alignment and resists disruption.
Realignment as a sign of Systemic Capture:
In the vision, the termite system does not struggle with resistance—it outgrows it.
Over time, everything begins to serve the same structure, whether intentionally or unconsciously.
This explains why:
Accountability fades unexpectedly
Institutional resistance weakens
Public criticism transitions into endorsement
Not necessarily because individuals lack intelligence—but because the system itself is designed to
absorb pressure.
A sober Warning
There is a danger when:
Access replaces conviction
Comfort replaces responsibility
Survival replaces integrity
At that point, individuals who were meant to challenge the system may gradually become instruments within it.
3. The Termite Soldiers and Workers - the System in motion:
The Soldiers:
These represent the enforcers of disorder:
Violent actors
Criminal networks
Political enforcers
Agents of intimidation (both physical and digital)
They thrive where systems are weak.
The Workers:
These represent the structures that unintentionally sustain dysfunction:
Compromised institutions
Inefficient systems
Professionals constrained by survival
Citizens adapting to broken systems
Over time, even well-meaning people can become participants in what they do not support.
The State of the Nation:
A structure weakened internally does not always collapse immediately—it deteriorates gradually, then suddenly.
“The nation trembles.
Its foundations are strained.
Its structures are under pressure.”
This is not merely a political issue—it is systemic instability.
The Divine Response-a call for Cleansing:
The response required is not superficial
adjustment—but deep renewal.
Before restoration:
Root systems of corruption must be dismantled
Complicit structures must be reformed or replaced
Harmful networks must be disrupted
A new value system must emerge
Sustainable rebuilding cannot occur on compromised foundations.
The Hope-a rising Remnant:
Yet there is
hope.
“Though much has been eroded, restoration is still possible.”
A new generation must arise—not defined by age, but by values.
They will:
Choose integrity over advantage
Uphold truth even when inconvenient
Reject normalised corruption
Serve beyond personal gain
Engage systems without being consumed by them
This remnant is not withdrawn—they are actively rebuilding.
The coming Shift:
There are seasons when hidden structures become visible.
What is concealed begins to surface
What is tolerated becomes questioned
What is entrenched begins to shake
This is how transformation begins—not instantly, but decisively.
Understanding Timing: Scripture
reminds us that divine processes often operate differently from human
expectations:
“With the Lord, one day is as a thousand years…” “A thousand years… are like a watch in the
night.”
Delay is not always denial.
Yes, God, in His longsuffering, granted the Amorites—the Canaanites—over
four hundred years to turn from their sinful ways. But when they remained
unyielding, they were ultimately dispossessed of their land, which was then
given to the people of Israel.
Final Call
Nigeria stands at a critical point.
The choice is clear:
Continue within a weakening system
or
Commit to renewal and reconstruction
And the responsibility is personal as well as collective:
Am I contributing to dysfunction?
Am I tolerating what I should challenge?
Am I adapting to corruption or resisting it?
Final Declaration:
The era of silent decay cannot continue indefinitely.
Systems built on imbalance eventually give way.
But there is still a path forward.
Nigeria can be:
Rebuilt on integrity
Strengthened by accountability
Renewed through truth and justice
The future is not yet sealed—it is being shaped.
Let awareness rise.
Let responsibility awaken.
Let integrity take root.
And let every voice committed to truth stand firm.
Nigeria’s
problem is not just bad leadership—
it is a self-sustaining system of
corruption that reproduces itself, absorbs opposition, and devours the nation
from within.
Jesus is Lord!
